Beanz
HMMM nah make a new one..Just see how this one sounds in your sub if you like it then keep it man. Quote That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do. Deschain420
Just test and see which way YOU like it the best, everybody's ears are different. You may find a different combination sounds better to you. It's all about testing. Ditto this. Again. TS, don't feel like you did something wrong because it's not subs up, port back. Put the box in, test it in as many positions as you want; decide what sounds best. If you still feel like you need them sub up, port back - build a new box; test and compare. Just be happy you have an SUV to make box building easier.

skittlesRgood
i vote you cut up that box lol. i mean test it as it is like everyone already said. but if you think it should be louder, sound better, or you just think you could have made the box better, go ahead and remount the subs in the same box and test it. if its better sub and port back you could add a second "baffle" to the top to cover the holes and make the box stronger. i would obviously recommend you build a new box after but that is a cheaper option that will work and get you your answer. Playa Named Joe
I've had my sub up with port back for a long time. Yesterday I changed it up with port forward, and I can say it sounds about the same, but the lows sound alot lower and clearer.
