I dont know why, but for some reason there are a ton of threads about the Rubicon monoblocks on this forum. I'm not trying to be a dick and say read or use the search bar, but it seems to be the same questions over and over.

OP I'm really not trying to bash or say bad of you anyway. If you want my opinion, go with the Rubicon great amp and sexy as hell.

As for your up front battery, go with XS power, you'll be very happy with them.

thanks I understand what you were saying I just wanted to know how did it compare up to the US AMP.And your saying a XS power battery just up front with the 180 alt and I should be good?

With the big 3 upgrade and correct batteries you should be fine even with a stock alt.

Lol, 3000 watts on a 90 amp alt?

It will work, but not if u want to play it loud for long periods.

I would go with atleast a 220 amp alt and a good battery in the front and a big one in the back. (XS D3100)

well, it was selling at onlinecarstereo.com for that price, and that is Soundstream's only authorized internet dealer, but the price is now up to 530 I think. You can still find one for 450, but not at an authorized retailer. and the 180 amp alt and battery will help, the current draw on this amp is something like 225 amps. I haven't measured it since I don't have an amp clamp, but it is huge...

If you get the MD3D you should get a 220 amp or 240 amp Alternator and two Kenetik HC2000's or something similar. I have a MD3D that Im trying to get rid of because I dont have the electrical system for the amp. But it is a great amp. Hope this helps.

Or grab the "sale section", there was a vew offers of amps in your watt- and pricerange in the last days.

I remeber a DAT 2500.1 and a SAZ 3000 D, both for arround 500 $.
