Im running them in my yukon and i think they sound good. Have them running off a r.f power 1000 ( 5 channel with 110rms per channel). I dont have much to compare them to though, i only had the stock bose speakers and some orion cobalts running off that amp to compare to. The people who have listened to them have said that they sound good, but they do lack midbass

ive got mine on us amps md42 in custom door panels and they sound awesome. first thing i did was play some live music with some nice drums and it soumded very good to me plus i have an upstage tweeter and 6.5 coax in the back. my car sounds like a concert! i think theyll do fine on that amount of power. i'll post vids soon

im in teh same boat. i am going to build a 3way set up using their stuff and feedback is no where it seems. i can't remember the part numbers but im going to go with teh 4" w/the 22tweets off my zapco ag150 and a 6" midbass driver off my zapco ag200. i feel it should rock pretty well.

i just wish there was more feedback out there. i came here first seem like SMD is so full of people on different budgets.

I've been running CDT for the last 5yr's, I've used all the various series they have CL,HD,ES, ES gold. I perfer the crispness of the Hd series the best. The cl's will take no more then 150rms unless you want to fry them. if you run them active you can put 100rms to the tweets and 200rms to the mids, with the right tuning of course. If you want more volume add more speakers and amps don't try to over power one set. I run two sets of Hd6.5's just for that reason with upstage tweeters and polk audio mm2001 monitors. They are running at 300rms per side at 2ohms xs over at 80hz my sub play up to 100hz in a sealed box and down to 20hz. this is a great sounding set up for both sound quality and everyday playing. I wish more people would try CDT it's people like us that will keep them in buissness so we can enjoy them for years to come. Props to all CDT owners!!!!

@ sets of CDT HD6.5's upstage tweeters, polk 2way monitors, Arc audio 300.2, 2 Arc audio 12" flatline subs, 2 Arc audio 1000.1. Quality is always the way to go...
