I really don't want to live every week having to plug my batts up to a charger or waiting extended periods of time in between songs. I wanted to go all out with this car because it's almost paid off but if I'm this limited I might wait till I get something else for me to get my 150db needs and go with two lvl 4s and a AQ3500. Sound Digital makes a great 5k. rated at 12v, does close to 7k at 14.4 so after rise you still get your 5k. but with 2 amps you spread out imp rise so the two 3k's is a good idea. one guy around here has those subs in a trunk... i forget what amps though, but he is doing ~149db. it wouldnt be hard to build a better box than his and get the same results off less power or even better results. i have two 3k's on the way. going to power them off one kinetik 1800, two 2400s, one G31 and my DC 270XP. should have it all in next week. youll probably have to pm me to remind me but i can let you know how my voltage is before you decide. getting loud in a trunk, hard getting above 150db off a pair of 12"s, hard doing both... ffffuuuuuuuccckkkk lol hope you do it man!
