diamond audio 8's? or rockford p2 8's. does anyone have any experience with these 2 8's. i want to run 8 of these lil bastards. i want the sa8 but on back order till my ball hairs turn grey.

diamond audio has very good sound quality. I would love to see you do the diamonds. what series are you looking at of each??? and what kind of power you going to have on them?? and are you using them for mid bass or for your subs??

the diamond is the new d3 and the rf is the p2. will be using the 2600d hifon and for subs.

i had 4 rf P1 8's... and they did very well. they where in a 4.5 cube box tuned to 30 hz on 500w total... the only reall difference is the p2 has more power handling...

i would rather wait for the sa 8s imo... more excursion...

i would def go with the diamonds, you can over power them to, if its a clean signal, i have had around 800-850 on my 15" d3 for a while now, and still takes it like a champ. I really like the diamond audio subs, descent sound quality, good power handling, look good, and put out a lot of sound. you won't be dissapointed. i also have a friend with 4 cvr 8's and a extended cab s10 and the sound good as well, and get low for what they are, just not as clear as the diamonds. just my .02!

I had a set of p2 8's, they were awesome to say the least. 200rms, $55 each.
