kingleo
I usaully set the bass boost all the way up, and the gain to where the sound great at max volume, so I can turn down the subs from the bass knob in the car. You know some music is recorded different so it's good to have the extra control in the bass. Team-Atomic-Andrew
gain is NOT a volume knob TURN BASS BOOST DOWN ALL THE WAY what u do to set gain is turn volume on the deck all the way to the highest point before it clips and turn the gain on the amp to right before it clips you must use a O-scope
corteznewbie
then why have a bass boost? Quote Team DBs (Driven By sound)

mr.p
you can set it however it works for you if full gain works because you have low input signal then so be it, and you can use bassboost Quote DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP
Team-Atomic-Andrew
bass boost is a cheap way to be louder but all it does is fry your subs, you have to understand how and why signals clip to get it there is a post on why in general audio
mr.p
i use the bassboost to do 154 bassraces all day Quote DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP

Slawsen
Bassboost doesn't clip as long as you set your gains with the bass boost set to what you want it at..
