kingsuv Posted September 2, 2011 Report Share Posted September 2, 2011 like what is it tuned to with that port. you have a cab rise which in my car is like 10-13hrz. like tuned box to 45-47 hrz it peak on mic 57 like yours did depending on box rise. The box was built to tune 37hz with a single 6" Precision port. I then worked with the space I had to make a larger port opening that would tune closer to the peak of the car as well as match what the subs wanted so he could put more power to them. Remember, Kicker says 65hz to put 2500w to them. Ghey IMO to rate them like that, But in a higher tuned cabin, for SPL it works. He ended up with a TON of port area and a box that does well in 2 different applications. Designing, building, and shipping boxes.
