It don't mean they lose any money, they will get it all in the end.

This is just till a budget gets signed, they act like its permanent.

They may even get paid for all the furlough days when it all gets done in court.

Some had 3 days a month off, for many months, in the end they will probably get paid in full for those days off.

So ya I don't think it's fair, but in the end they will be compensated for days they were off.

So whos going to get over? Not the state! They will pay for people to have stayed home, dumb ass politicians.

My wife works for the state and as of right now, they will not be backpaid for the furlough days they were off. What doesn't make sense about all this is the state is still hiring, they are still giving promotions, and they are still giving yearly raises.

That's far too general a statement.

And if Arnie decides to cut pay of all state workers...doesn't he work for the state? Along with all his little politician friends?

for all of you not in the know, Arnie doesnt get paid, his salary is donated to a charity , the whole times hes been in office he's never been paid, when he was elected he didnt want paid.

And that is for obvious reasons.

Legalize Marijuana and tax it. This state will climb back to the top.

no it wont, i dont know one pothead who would pay a premium for "legal wedd" when the corner guy can get it to them for half or less then that. also the feds will step in if it does happen. but either way marijuana is totally not going to be any big economy saver at all.

When prohibition was going on with liquor during the depression they ended prohibition and the economy came back.

Since liquor is legal now and the next biggest cash crop is MARIJUANA they will legalize it and let state laws keep it in check and make the rules. This will end the depression we are in right now.The only reason the prices are so high on the high quality weed right now is because its only for medical use and not legal in every state.Once it is legalized people will just grow it them selves which will make the prices drop real low from any store front businesses.True story!
