and coming soonn i plan to either build a walled off box or an up fire box, i still am waiting for my HO alt a 350 amp from alternatorparts.com 350 amp alt with external outboard rectifying bridge! ;) and im going to have 7 yellow top optimas cuz i have MADD hookup on yellow tops for brand new $50 bucks a yellow top from my cuzin! im prolly going to use 2/0 awg power and ground wire , its welding wire lol 00 AWG (-1 AWG) wire haha but i might just use two strands of zero. only thing im not sure about is if i should run a relay inbetween each battery to limit current, or if i should just parallel all batteries together , or run all of em independant off the HO Alt. tell me what you think box will be tuned to 32-36 hz im not too sure cuz i dont know how to account for large amounts of resin bracing on the walls of the box.

hey guys what would be better for the system, like a bunch of yellow tops or one yellow top for under the hood and 2 XS power D3100's???? i cant decide what would be better!

I would go with XS. They have a faster charge, faster discharge, easier on alternator (~10 amperes per battery), takes up less space, and is made for car audio.
