Amp repairs?

I have a blown Memphis Mojo 16-MCD4K and i was wondering where i could get it repaired? Is it something that would have to send to Memphis only? I would think there is someone else out there that could do it. Any shops in Sacramento areas?

After waiting 7 months he will start not taking your calls ya send your amp there might get it back in month might take over a year like me

If you like to gamble send your amp there and roll the dice

I sent mine out to Db-r in texas. They do quality work, after a few conversations over the phone you can tell this guy takes pride in his work and knows his stuff. He is a little busy, it took 3 weeks for my amp to even be unpacked but once work was started it took 1 day to fix almost everything then parts had to be ordered which took a few days but the day the parts came in my amp was fixed fully tested and shipped out, Im actually waiting for it to arrive today.

Very very good customer service too, they have a communication system which is like your own individual thread, and anytime I had a question or said something to them there it was answered within 2 hours (during their business hours). he actually told me that they fix alot of memphis amps. They are a certified refurb sundown dealer. I guess I cant hug their nuts too much til I put my amp back in and test it all out and have it be fine a few weeks or months down the road but all i can say is great customer service fast responses and from what I have heard about them from others and from the assumptions I made after talking to them over the threads and over the phone a few times it seems like they do very quality work and dont cut corners. he even told me that is the reason they are tipically a little more pricey than other places because they fix everything that is suspect and dont cut corners and get it done right the first time. May be worth giving them a holler, hope this helps

Yes he is swamped last week he told me if he closed his doors that day he would have work to last him a good 3 weeks, but honestly if he is everything he says he is and what other people say, this is the place to go. He kept in touch with me gave me updates as to how many amps were in front of mine. Like i said I waited 3 and a half weeks to have my amp even looked at but once it was it was fixed within a week and should be home today.

Thank you all for the input. I have sent them an email hopefully he gets back to me soon. I miss my bass already. any other recommended places? just in case i need them. I knew DB-r sold refurbed units, but didn't know they fixed them. I would love to have this fixed

Tell me about it man, I waited a week before even sending my amp out because i had no idea where to send it either. Then it took a week to get there then sat there for 3 weeks then got fixed during another week and taken a week to get back to me its been almost 2 months without bass I know it will all be worth it though in a few hours. Gotta be patient though he is busy but I mean I doubt you would have to wait any longer than I did.
