E a r t h
its going into thermal protect, which it's supposed to do when it reaches a determined temperature. so to answer your question, it is doing its job, so no need to send it in for working properly. question to you is,...has it been hot ambient temp wise? and if so, i imagine your trunk is pretty damn hot inside. cqtama
yea sounds like your protect circuit's just doing its job. I'm not sure what the temp is but at a certain temperature the amp will turn it self off to avoid damage. try leaving your backseats down to allow some more air to circulate back there Quote R.I.P '01 blazer you treated my ears well until your transmission blew up. 77-AUDIO
put some fans in there to help move some air around in there. I am looking at putting a pc cooling system on mine. With two radaitors one outside under the car to get cooled by the air flowing over it and one inside the trunk with an electric fan blowing toward the amp.
