ive been using one for a few months, never had any problems with it. granted my set-up isnt super loud or anything. But running off a 150a alt and a couple batts it never seems to drop voltage or anything. Personally i think its a good amp for the money...

This explains a lot...lol :pardon:

I think it does.Let's see. From Eric's facepalm comment, I can derive that Eric is one of the many that believes that amp is a poor solution for those looking to get higher wattages out of a cheaper amp, and that when you buy cheap, you get cheap. No offense to the original poster;if that's what you can afford, than good for you to have the money to be able to throw around on car audio. But you might as well kiss any hope of getting clean power to your subs goodbye.

Correct me if I'm wrong Eric ;)

I actually loved my AP3k, and Bigpimpin91 loves his 2 3ks... quite a few people who are decently loud who use audiopipe amps...

just remember, its 1 ohm per channel stable, and 2 ohms bridged, it IS a 2 channel amp..

1500x2 @ 1 ohm per chan

3000x1 @ 2 ohms bridged

with out the proper electrical to back it up, i suggest you do not attempt to run it bridged at 1 ohm, while others will tell you to go ahead...

I can see how you might get all of this from a facepalm, but someone asking about this amp isnt going to understand what he means. A forum is for information. Thats all im saying. For instance i bought this amp because of its price, power is decent as long as you supply clean power to it. Of course its not going to compete with RF or Sundown, but you cant buy 3k rms at 2ohm from either of them for $400. Im not trying to pick a fight with anyone here, just speaking my opinion....
