zachhern1 Posted July 24, 2010 Report Posted July 24, 2010 ok so today i was really bored so I opened the booklet that came with my powerbass 5.25s and read that they are 3 ohm speakers. I thought they were 4 ohm. right now i have them paired up running off 1 channel. is that fine or should I run each of them on their own seperate channel?

thebiggmann12 Posted July 24, 2010 Report Posted July 24, 2010 if ur amp is rated at 1 ohm ur fine...chances are if ur amp is rated at 2 ohms ur still fine unless its a garbage amp, but ur warrenty will probably b void.

zayres29 Posted July 25, 2010 Report Posted July 25, 2010 personally i would hook each speaker to its own channel because your already getting extra power because they are 3 ohm and not 4 and its more on the safe side not that the amp cant handle it just my .02 Btw that was the first person. Ever banned by me while dropping a deuce. Feel privileged
