Uh, those boxes were specifically designed by MTX for that subwoofer....

they may have been designed for the subwoofer but they were the absolute smallest they could have been. ive seen boxes for 15" woofers bigger than that. basically what im sayin is the way they did it they used the smallest box possible to fit it in the truck (which was retarded because it was an F'in bread truck)

and chevyboy u know that a trunk is not a very accurate box there are leaks where air can get out and comprimise the pressure the woofer creates. it wasnt a smart way to use that woofer

Umm...subs dont need that big of box when they have a strong motor right? Cuz for my TC-3000 or sumthin TC said the more motor strength the smaller the box can be?

Umm...subs dont need that big of box when they have a strong motor right? Cuz for my TC-3000 or sumthin TC said the more motor strength the smaller the box can be?

Especially since this guy is running the jackhammer in a 32cf box. I am not very experienced with those, but that does seem to be a tad large for 1 sub...even a jackhammer :rolleyes: .

i think it seems like overkill but i believe the JH can use all those cubes. i think the minimum box requirement is 9 cubic feet
