need to make sure the ground on the rca is properly touching the amps ground part, sometimes you may have to take a pliers and bend the ring around the rca in just a bit so it tighter around the rca on the amp, do the same for the heaunit side, if it doesnt ground that, you will get lots and lots of noise :D

THIS IS ALL YOU NEED no joke i had some BAD engine noise and as soon as i hooked it up NOISE WAS GONE...if it dont work after you plug it in make sure you ground the wire that it comes with like to your cd player trust me you wont me dissapointed

That's why they don't deliver.

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

Ive ran different RCA's to the amp and still had the problem. Its not the RCA's its defiantly the ground wires I have coming from the front to the back. I unhooked those a put a short wire hooked up to the seat bolt and boom noise gone. As soon as I put the ones from the front back on Noise again. I just don't understand why that is as I hear many people have ran grounds directly from the front battery to the rear with no problem

Are you charging your ipod as it's hooked up or something? I notice when I plug in my cell phone charger, and am charging my ipod off of that, I sometimes get engine noise in my speakers.

Maybe your RCAs and power wire are too close and causing the noise

'Tis a myth.

I would say yea, for the most part, cause rcas have shielding, and also because they are twisted, so you really dont have to worry about noise, unless you bought some ghetto wtf rca's, ha ha
