g6ryder Posted August 3, 2010 Report Share Posted August 3, 2010 ok i have 2 12" kickee L7's i HAD them hooked up to kicker zx1500.1 i hit 140.3 db stock 125 ALT. big 3 extra battery stay about 14v i sold the kicker amp and bought a HIFONICS XX-COLOSSUS which is 3200 rms at 2 ohm bridged 1100x2 rms at 2 ohm subs are in a 4.8 cubic ft its the largest box i could get in my pontiac G6 trunk will this new hifonics amp raise my DB's? is this a good amp? www.wooferwarehouse.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k! Why would you EVER WANT flex?huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct? Mosin Posted August 4, 2010 Report Share Posted August 4, 2010 x2 on what Kranny and Alex K said. For the record I run a Hifonics BXi 2610D amp on my 2 12" L7's with no problems whatsoever. Also, my current box is about 2.3 cubes per woofer at 38Hz. You'll be fine on your power as long as you don't slam the gain all the way up. Properly set everything. Derp.
