subs are 2 ohm

Clicky - Subwoofer Wiring

If it's wired the first way, switch it to the second way. Way too low of a ohm load for that amp to run properly.

Also, do what Ray said, and get a better ground. (Make sure you sand all the paint off of the metal part you are grounding the wire to.)

My old audiobahn got real hot at 2 ohms n it was 2 ohm stable, even at 4 ohms it got real warm, do the fan thing or get a new one amp, its most likely just gonna get hot n lettin it get worse, for example full tilt on a hot day isn't gonna help, invest in a fan at the least
