Damn that's a world record. The highest I could find online was 136 and the highest heat index on record is 176. But in Iraq it can get to the high 120's but the heat index is the same or lower since its dry.

That is so awesome....... I just do not believe that HE would make a story up just to look cool....... lol

great idea tacoma but ama a little confuse heres my ac acumulator on my jeep grand cherokee which one is my low line?

is it that big line that goes over the alternator and P/S pump ?

the big line is the low side, same one u put freon in it with, i wrapped mine as much as i could with the pipe insulation, the little line is ur high pressure hot line

big line is low pressure cooled liquid, little line is high pressure hot gas, why there different is liquid needs more room to expand than gas so it works that way, u do not want to cover the little like as it needs to burn off or dissapate the excess heat in the engine bay so when it goes threw the evaperator coil it will cool down and flow back threw the big line into the car and the cycle goes on

im gonna do this today. do i wrap the whole line and do you know the name for it at home depot? they are retarded at my store they have no clue what it is unless you have the exact name lol but true story

its called pipe insulation, it will be in the plumbing section, or should be anyways, its the same stuff u wrap hot water lines with coming from a hot water heater

a 1/2'' round one will cover the line good enough, i think its what i used, i'll take a pic of mine and a pic of the temp too if it helps, just cover as much as u can of it, all i was able to get to was the line comeing out of the firewall and down to the compressor, so i covered as much as i could get to, i could tell it made a difference, its not gunna make it a freezer but it will help out the efficiency of ur a/c tho so it dont have to work so hard due to heat

i wanna try some of that second skin stuff that u put under the hood of ur car like steve did on the hoe to see if i can keep its temp down a lil bit so the motor dont get as hot

my temp befor i put that insulation on my a/c lines in my truck was around 45+ degree's, i just got done checking it and at vent its putting out 20degree air, and was still going down so that shows it helps a shit ton

and i can tell a diff too, ied check the air going in but i dont kno where the air filter is on my trucks a/c system

we just got the ok to evacuate the office for the rest of the day due to the ventilation system not being able to handle the smoke....due to the heatwave were having there are alot of forest and ground fires in central Russia. Currently, Moscow is engulfed in smoke (been like that for the past week actually, but the concentration is much worse today) - pretty hard to breath, alot of people are wearing facemasks and whatnot. 

The heat has been incredible though - steady up to 100 and sometimes over degrees for the last two months. i've never seen anything like that here - normal summer temps are high 70's and low 80's with a few days in the 90's ....I was out driving to the store last night around midnight and it was 89 degrees outside - craziness
