Also im asking Massive Audio what i can do with wiring these up because i have a single SMD 18" Dual 1 (.7 really) coils and i know i cant strap this together at .35 ohms without smoking them so im thinking to get it so its one amp per coil so roughly 3500 rms may get to each coil. Let me know what these both would be to ship to 14150 in a pm or reply. whichever you want to do. AI James Posted February 21, 2011 Author Report Posted February 21, 2011 some other ones weve ran down to .15 no probs, voltage and rise helps alot though shouldnt be more then 20 more each to ship them that far so 1040 shipped to your door also massive is going to tell you DO NOT run them under .5 as they do not warranty db8000 or db16000 because they are for competition use only

Plus idk if u read my sig but im only running a single 270 amp mechman alt, xs s3400 in the front and a d3100 in the rear for power. all with 0 gauge of course for big 3 and power wires. So do you think that will be enough until i get another 2 d3100's for the rear? I have been staring at these amps on here for quite some time and the output is pretty good for what i plan to use them with. AI James Posted February 21, 2011 Author Report Posted February 21, 2011 weve had them down to .15 per amp your electrical is simular to rays on here and hes running 4 on a dc power 270amp alt and 5 batterys. id say 2 on your electrical should be fine

I do have an oscope now to use myself and set everything perfectly along with a clamp meter for it too. The only thing i dont know how to do yet is figure out imp rise. AI James Posted February 21, 2011 Author Report Posted February 21, 2011 you can figure out your imp rise with meters when you burp it as far as strapped at .15 that makes each amp at .07 i wouldnt do that whatsoever these would be plenty with one on each coil of your d.7 smd though
