he's right 3 10's has more displacement/cone area than 4 10's, but 2 12's is almost up there, so 3 10's or 2 12's would do justice..

edit 3 10's has more cone area than 4 8's....

also depends on the power. for instance if each sub is getting 1000w i would do the 10"s. but if your just getting one 2k amp to run them all i would do the 12"s.
