i thought i was done making newbie mistakes

well i went to redo some wiring on my amps and when i rehooked my soundstream4.500 i hooked ground to power and power to ground. needless to say the amp i think is now junk. the blue power light stays on even if ignition is off. there are no external fuses to check on this amp. the shop where i buy my shit from told me to bring it to him and he will bench it and see what happens. i cant believe i did this. ive had no bump or sound for like 2 mths. and i traded a guy for my 2 rf hx 10's with a virtual technologies box for an resx 15. so i was getting everything ready and now i only have bump and nothing else.

mistakes happen but just learn from them and from now on add external fuses

i just meant theres no fuses for me to check.and yes i have a distro block but its not fused from the power to the second amp and just the main 0gauge coming from battery.

well i have the other SS 4.500 on lay away but i guess now ill just get that one out sooner than later and just send this one off to SS and see what happerns

buy a little more wire and color code them or put black tape on the negative. that way this will never happen again

wiring color wasnt the issue i just looked at the amp wrong when i went to wire it back up.

well dont feel too bad we all make mistakes, and generally they end up bein very simple ones. rack it up to a 'shit happens' moment
