Title says it all. I got fiberglass to work with, 29 oz. of resin and 8 sq. ft. of mat to experiment with and get the hang of before I really start to think about working on doors or other things... And I would also like to make a cup holder/ipod dock for the center arm rest up front later on because it came without one.

anything you guys suggest everything welcome...

Sure. Good tip use the stranded cloth not the mesh shit and work in small sections.

Also make sure to go heavy covering the glass with resin. Never go easy. :D

not necessarily man, you don't want to oversaturate the mat.

but to the OP, post pics

x2 resin is weak and the glass gives it strength. I lay chopped mat in the resin until it wont soak in anymore.

Tips

Cut half the bristles off the cheap paint brushes. Easier to tap and lay the glass.

Stretch your cloth tight.

CA glue is the shit.

Check the piece for fitment as much as possible along the way. Some things can warp and distort fairly easy.

I wanna see picts too.

Now, this was done and finished way before any of you offered your advice. I like the way it came out and I don't regret anything. Many of you might have done it differently I did mine the way I could.
