Incin
How can I get the most out of the amp without having to get two more subs because I dont have any money to do that. And ill admit I dont really know alot about setting up car audio so it doesnt affend me if you call me noob or whatever. well, it'll make you shit bricks. Autruche
I would say bridge one sub to the front channels and bridge the other to the rear channels and set your gains reasonably with a DMM. Just know that amp probably won't do rated but with each sub bridged it should power those just fine. Need Test Tones/Sine Waves? Incin
the amp is rated 500 max x2 4ohm bridged. An i kn ppl tell me that max power dont matter well, it'll make you shit bricks.
Autruche
Bridged is always twice of what it says the rms is for each channel at 2 ohms, because when you bridge an amp each channel sees half the overall impedance. so 4 ohms bridged is the same as 2 ohms to each channel. That amp will probably do about 200-250 watts rms bridged. and putting 200 into those subs should be fine, but I don't have any experience with them, but I still think bridging both subs will be fine if you set your gains right. I've done it this way before and it worked fine with a 4 channel. Need Test Tones/Sine Waves? R_Mac_1
Yes just make sure you match the gains on the two subs (especially if they are in a box with a common chamber). You can use a DMM to match the gains. 2002 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi Pioneer DEH-P6000UB Alpine SPX-17REF 6.5" components (active) Sundown SAX-50.4 Sundown z15 (3 cubes @ 35 hz) Sundown SAX-1200D 2006 Buick Rainier CXL AWD V8 Stock Bose system 12" Alpine Type E in aeroported box Profile AP1000M
