Joshslvl4xl
Is it possible to run your remote wire off of one of the back batteries? Will that act the same as it coming off the radio? cubs_fan0718
it would leave ur amp on constantly, thats like looping ur remote wire to ur power input on ur amp u'd be constantly unplugging it to shut it off. Or you would have to put a switch in between to shut it off but yes you could do it. JPagan
Is it possible to run your remote wire off of one of the back batteries? Will that act the same as it coming off the radio? unless you put a switch on the wire between the amp and batt, the amp would stay on with the car off. Autruche
not sure if you're having problems with your remote wire, but if you are you can wire it up to the ignition wire that turns the stereo on and off. but then the amp stays on when the head unit is off, solution to that is a kill-switch in-line to the amp. Edit: I meant if you turn the head unit off with the car on. Edited August 24, 2010 by lAutruche Quote Need Test Tones/Sine Waves?
