BeatBox Posted June 9, 2011 Author Report Posted June 9, 2011 well..... car wont be at Slamology, im ready but subs wont be talked to rusty today and he said the parts will be in by next weekend he tried to get me the part to build the subs but he didnt have any luck, he tried funny sht because its almost a yr from when i heard Derecks teg and said to my self i need to get myself one, a few $$$$ later and i was real close to having it in time. oh well sht happens as far as the wall its had a layer of dondo, sanded it down and have another layer on now no point in rushing it, i work on it when i have time

BeatBox Posted June 14, 2011 Author Report Posted June 14, 2011 little update here, subs not making it for slamlogy kinda un-motivated me to work on it def making it down to Indy tho, leaving saturday afternoon and staying down to check out what shenanigans go on at night got the front off the wall basically done... after a few layers of bondo, i wanted to paint it but i had some new carpet so went with that instead carpet added and trying to figure out something to put around the port as trim panel had this in mind but didnt like the way it looked(wood trim) sanded one side to a smooth edge took that sht off and found some aluminum pieces, that would be alot thinner and wont split cut and placed where they will go added some fiver glass and resin to some parts to make sure it sealed and for some strength the back outter half of the box will be covered with bead liner so it looks like sht for the time being inside let that dry, then added some primer...a few coats of it, just painting the parts where you will see when you look into the port came home from work and did a few layers of flat black now its drying for an hr or two thats about it for now, tomorow ill put the interior back on finally then work on the back half some time this week
