C.Sanchez.A
Okay here are the cards I'm dealt. I have a 1994 Mazda B3000 V6, it's completely stock (apart from the sound system). The stock drive line is pretty good, just not enough for me. I was thinking of installing a V6 mustang drive line (I.E. Engine, transmission, rear axle, and what ever needs to be done to get there). My question is it possible? Or what are some other options? Guide lines I would like to follow: V6 Engine Reasonable fuel economy Automatic transmission (It's a daily driver and I don't want to get into too much trouble ) RWD (Obviously) Edited August 27, 2010 by C.Sanchez.A Quote Click Links To View Build Logs 1994 - Mazda B3000 (Daily/Toy/Show) 2002 - Mazda Protege (Daily) 1995 - Hyundai Accent (R.I.P.) 1984 - Bronco II (Restoration Project) Youtube Channel
wfw5607
look up a swap kit to put a 94 mustang 5.0l in it. I have seen it done and their very similar to a 350 in an s-10. the kit i found (ill link to it if i find it) had motor mounts headers and an oil pan and after looking at some install pics it seemed pretty straight foward Quote Build in progress Alpine CDEHD-138BT Alpine SPX-17PRO 2x Alpine SWS-15d2 2x Alpine PDX-V9 2x Alpine PDX-M12 Stinger SPC5050 Stinger 1/0ga and 4ga Audioquest interconnects and Speaker wire Dynomat 10455 mega bulk pak Dynomat 1/8 and 1/4 liner All that in a Reg cab truck and it wont be a blow though

C.Sanchez.A
i dont believe their will be any issues with your truck being a mazda their the same truck with different badges That's why I went with a mustang drive line as a first choice. The only thing Mazda about the truck is the name and the emblems. Thanks for the instant reply. The only thing is I want to keep it a V6. nautical7
Just do your research before jumping the gun, or find a buddy who knows what they're doing to help. And anything is possible with enough time/money/fabrication.
