doug118
Neo motor with gap and pole venting for high thermal power handling. Also features treated paper cone, treated accordion surround, and very uncommon in this type speaker... flat and tied down leads. MAP is expected to be ~$97.50 on the 8s and ~$112.50 on the 10s. Very competitive with Neo offerings from Eminence and Selenium! (response to please tell me the db rating is over 100db or close to 98db at 1w/1m...that wat alot of other pro audio mids r doing) It's not quite that high, I'm going for more mid-bass output which ridiculously high sensitivity drivers don't have any of (Hoffmans Iron Law). They are super loud, though =) these 10s and 8s are good for both midbass and midrange duty. I was careful to make sure they have strong midbass output! I haven't started doing tweeters yet... but will later. May also do 6.5" eventually. Quote 2001 Tahoe.
