cmrs2k Posted August 5, 2007 Report Posted August 5, 2007 (edited) Well, I have posted up a question asking for everyones help in choosing between 1 Rockford Fosgate T40001bd or 4 JL 1000/1's. I was unanimously advised to go with the RF. Point Taken. Then while saving $$ for the RF amp, the opportunity to get a Soundstream XXX-6500 for cheap came up. I asked. The RF still remained the favored. I asked these questions and the good folks here have helped me out and during this time, I have been saving my pennies. I was convinced that 1 Rockford T40001bd would be my next purchase. Well, things didn't turn out quite like that... What I have been working with until now: A visual comparison Well, as you can see, not a T40001bd, but 3 T30001bds. This wasn't what I was planning, but the opportunity presented itself, and I went for it. I was planning on using 1 T4K on 4 RE SX 15's, but now I have to revise my plan. To be honest I am not sure what I am going to do. I might sell one and just play with two, I might hunt down one more and play with four. I have it set up on 2 ohms now, and I have to say I am not disappointed. I figure I will run one per sub when I get the time to set it up. I'll go from there on what I do next. Thanks again. Quote

I often wonder the same thing when I see people picking up stuff like this. I have been hunting for awhile. I may be selling one, not sure yet. If I do, I will post it on here. Quote
