bigaltexas Posted September 9, 2010 Report Share Posted September 9, 2010 okay.. well. this is my first time with dampening or deadener... w/e its called. but. my roof right now pops real bad from the 2 fi bl 15's and 4500 watt amp... i plan on doing my doors, my roof, and the back underneath the window... but. do you think i should do the floor as well, or will i be okay? and also, how many layers should i do on the roof or doors? or would i be okay with 1 layer? thank you. and could anyone refer me to what exact product i should get, like. what exact kind of second skin? thank yall. Its not too terribly hard to take off the headliner but its not really something u want to fuck with twice Quote J. Which deadener did you go with and how many layers did you put and where? I too am having a lot of flex and rattling on the roof of my gmc sierra extended cab truck.
