It dont matter if your using a y cable. or a rca input, and a rca output which then goes to your amp (like he originally stated) or you use a rca pass-thru on a amplifier which does not boost your rca signal and is just that a pass thru (like he now claims it works, even tho the pics show otherwise) lol Its soaking up pre amp output voltage.. I would be interested to know about the switches duty cycle and projected longevity. I'm sure it has a limit, just like a diaphragm type switch like the streetglow units use.
