good amp for the money??

hey guys

got a simple question for ya

im looking to get a amp thats atleast 2400 to 3000 watts watts but since i dont know all the brands out their in the market i thought of asking yall what would be a good amp for the money. i dont really want to pay 600 for an amp since i dont have much money (college is stealin my money and the gf isnt helping lol)

i know CHEAP and GOOD don't always mix but im hoping theirs an exception for me lol

any input would help

Crescendo comes to mind....can't remember the price, I think it is around $500 or so, and perfect for your power range.

Normally you will pay 1.00ish$ per watt for a good amp

$550 for crescendo. You could always run audiopipe 30001D. Sonic electronix has some nice hifonics refurb for a good price as well, the XX line is beastly

Notice the ISH on 1.00..You expect to gett 3000 watts out of a amp that is 200-300?..what im getting at is if you want a good amp your gonna pay for it

audiopipe ap30001d for 300~ if you type in ap30001d in google shopping

3000w at 2 ohms bridged, its a 2 channel amp, if anyone tells you otherwise are morons... ill tell you that right now..

it can do rated, and the newer ones are rated up to 16v..

i had one and it took a beating for 2 years and never had any issues at all... others will disagree and say you should get a sundown 2500d for 600~ or a sundown 3000

I think it is more like .10-.40 cents a watt, .10 being the low end, and .40 being the high end. (applying to class d amps, a or a/b amps throw that out the window)

Also remember the differences in price from retail, and actual cost.
