96Blazer Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 I WAS looking at 2 Fi SSD 15's fully loaded. But now I am looking at 1 Fi BTL 18 and am wondering which setup would be louder? Im think the SSD's would be louder but the 1 18 would go lower. What could I run for an amp? Id really like to keep this as cheap as I really can. Chode69 Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 2 15s have more cone area so technically by your comparison the 15s should go lower...but the size of a sub doesnt always determine how low it goes...its the box and design of the sub..yes generally 18s have a lower FS so they will generally play the lows more efficiently but ive heard a single 10 hit lower than my 2 18s...
