No I just going of the thread on caco where the guy barely broke a 140 will the 20k.

Back on topic, I would get the sound digital tho before I ever touch a Stetom amp again.

the sd 8k did 5,127 watts starting at 1 ohm raising to 4 ohms and droping to 9.5 volts the 12k is an even bigger monster

I had two stetsom 7k it maybe did 4-5k at most and it blew 2 weeks later. Yes I had a strong electrical. Stetsom amps are power hogs! And any vibration will blow your amp. I have heard from several different people that there 14k they only clamped 8-9k out of it on a consistent basis.

They're actually extremely efficient amps... the 7k was a bit of a learning curve though. The later ones (7k2d etc) are a much better design. Power hogs? Only because they output so much.

Vibration is an issue, they've done some work to mitigate it on the new ones.

And power-wise? One of my 10k's clamped 12800wrms into a non-reactive 1 ohm load before one of the output FETs popped.
