Power Wire in Grand Prix

I'll be working on running new wire for my stereo in the next week or two, the only thing I'm afraid of is where to drill through the firewall to run the wire back. It's a 2001 Grand Prix GT sedan. Has anyone done a GP build and knows where the best place to drill it would be? Also, what's the best way to cut through? Thanks.

First try to find a rubber grommet... So you dont have to drill...

if the battery is on:

the driver side id try to put the wire thru where the hood release wire goes

on the passenger side then id try to go thru where ac line go

2nd Gen W-bodies (including your Grand Prix) have the batt on the passenger side IIRC? I bet you could run it through the grommet for the PCM wiring on that side. Depending on your car there may be blanks in the firewall too; I know my first gen has a bunch on the pass. side (of course my batt is on the opposite side so I couldn't use those =/)

what about drilling near the floor board kind like where twisted drilled on his truck the just fit a grommit or silicone so nothing will come inside
