Ji553r Posted September 18, 2010 Report Share Posted September 18, 2010 so are there any lucid dreamers here? i used to practice in high school alot and could achieve lucidity around 2, occasionally 3 times a week but ever since joining the military its been tough to focus and concentrate back in that mindset. anybody else try it. for those that dont know lucid dreaming is in lamence terms realizing your dreaming and "waking up" inside of it so you have freedom and "control" over what is happening. its really interesting if you look it up and read into it I don't fuck around. I would either realize I was dreaming and then immediately forget and return to my dream, or get too excited and wake up . I do have a lot of flying dreams though so it's all good. Ji553r Posted September 19, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 19, 2010 no i have not read any of his books i just recently picked up one from Barnes & Noble just havent really sat down and read it. dwall thats funny i sometimes got excited too and woke up. no i havent seen that movie i will check it out though thank you cmam tower there are different ways you can llok em up if interested but what i did back when i was into it everyday at school id randomly ask myself "am i awak or asleep? how come? am i conscious or unconscious? how do i know?" then every night before bed id tell myself that i would remember my dream and i would ask myself those question over and over till i was asleep. people who are serious about it make detailed diaries of every dream they have for over a months time and make dream signs and such but i never got that into it I don't fuck around. flashlight_65 Posted September 19, 2010 Report Share Posted September 19, 2010 When I was in Afghanistan we were given Mefloquine (to prevent malaria) every Monday and one of the side effects were lucid dreams. If I did sleep enough there were times that I would dream about things from being at home to working on my car or reliving engagements.
