Namosh's un-blow-through

So, it's time for a little change. I am going to be needing my truck bed for truck stuff so out comes the blow-through.

First I'll re-cap on what isn't changing.

2005 Dodge Ram Quad Cab.

A couple layers of B-Quiet deadener on all doors, back wall and floor.

Eclipse head unit and Audiocontrol Epic 160 in the dash.

Rockford Fosgate 6.5 components in the doors.

Tweets in the wing panels.

Another set in some Q-Logic kick panels.

Iraggi 300 amp alternator.

And now out comes the blowthrough box....again.

New box will be a bit more cone area and power. No real goal....just louder.

Yeah, I did the cutting a long time ago. You can click the link in my sig to see the full build log of my blowthrough. But this build will just be a box in the cab.

I'm trying a sub up, port side firing set up. Port is very close to the door and I may change that some day.

The inside will be covered by the box. In the bed, I'm probably gonna just make a cover plate out of MDF and Rhino Line it. I don't want to permanently seal the hole because I'll most likely go back to a blowthrough eventually.

Here's a tip for you young guys....Always leave access for your cupholders!

Stupid brackets in the way.

Not wasting carpet where it won't be visible.

I'm using 8 gauge Stinger for speaker wire.

Loading the box. 3 DC XL 15's.

More pics to come later. It is up and playing after figuring out a little problem....ever have a sub with the pos and neg mis-marked? Let me tell you, it sucks.

Anyway, it's pretty loud. I'm gonna try to get on the meter pretty soon and see.
