I bought a pair of old triple stack btl 15s. I was told they were universal . They are dual 2 s and I'm wanting to recone to dual 1s. Is there any was to verify they are universal before I order my recones?

What do you mean "Universal" ?

If you are simply asking if they can be re-coned, then yes, almost any sub can be re-coned

theres a universal option, if its not universal its only able to be reconed as D2 and not D1

D2 is the "universal" tolerance for the motor
