F/S 3 Diablo Audio Technologies 1000.1's

For Sale here we have 3 DAT 1000.1 Mono block amps. All 3 are in need of repair however. One of the original style red board amps blow fuses with no internal damage as of yet to any mosfets, where as the 2nd original red board designed amp has some smoked fets. The 3rd is the newest design blue board amp that makes slightly more power than the original models. The newest designed amp does have several fets that let out the magic smoke.

On to the pictures

Here we have the blue boarded amp with the smoked fets. This amp in operating condition clamped at a little over 1900 watts non clipped. 2k moving into a soft clip @ .5 ohms nominal load

Moving on we have one of the original red board amps with no currently smoked internal components that just pops fuses at will. If this amp or its twin brother to be shown next were to have new fuses put in and were tried to be fired up again, component damage could POSSIBLY occur.

This amp has some slight scratching on the front heat sink which is how i received it.

This amp comes with the revised rear cover for better cooling and has 2 cooling fans installed.

And last but not least is # 3. This was the 4th one to be sold holding serial number hf1000:004. This amp like the prior amp, was popping fuses but had several fets let go once the first set of fuses was replaced to attempt to diagnose an issue. This amp does not have the vented rear cover. It does have a cooling fan installed that was part of an added upgrade after some extensive trunk car heat testing by myself for David and Bill in the early days.

Nominal clamped power readings on both of the red boarded amps non clipped @ .5ohms came in at 1756 watts and 1826 watts with a soft clip.

None of the above listed amps ever saw voltage below 11.6 Volts.

These 3 amps carry NO warranty from Diablo Audio Technologies what so ever implied or otherwise.

Asking $65 shipped per amp in the lower 48 states.

Average repair costs has been around $100 using the same repair shop that warranty work had been done by on all Diablo model amps. Repairs are the responsibility of the purchasing party.

Trades Corey had were not real appealing to me so back to the top with all 3 of these. Price dropped to $75 each shipped as well.

If you can quote $100 repair each and maybe link me to the person who does the best job and I'll pay $150 shipped for all 3. My friend needs a 1kw amplifier so I'd resell it to him after repair and I could use the other two on my 18's.

He's asking who does the repairs for you that you quoted ~$100 per amp. I'd like to know too. If it only costs that much to repair them, I'd buy two of these amps.
