Hugh G. Rection SMD build - new vid page 22!

Recommended Posts

gonna be a nice build but i think its pointless to tune that low. i understand you wanna play low and loud but i think around 28hz would be just fine. remember you can play below your tuning a little bit and be ok. just my opinion on the tuning

Finally got a build that's close by!

I live in Statesboro across from the stadium, let me know if you need an extra hand, I'm not experienced by any means but I know how to hold stuff still while someone else does something!

Subscribed!

Does anyone in the area have an O-scope that you know of?

i may take you up on that offer. ill be doing 4 runs of 1/0 positive, 4 runs of 1/0 negative, alot of 1/0 soldering with the torch, alot of drilling and bolting in steel reinforcement, and reinforcing all the internal panels of the car with fiberglass.

ill gladly teach you these things in return for a helping hand.

22hz? Damn. Sounds perfect for a HT setup. :santa:

I thought I heard that a good enclosure should play an octave above and half an octave below tuning. So your response could be from about 17 to 44hz?

Lol this made me laugh because thats how i feel when i "help" people. I know a little something but i feel as though im getting in there way or im doing something a way they dont like. But yea. Should be a pretty nice build. Do you have any pics of the previous build with the kicker?
