i never was a fan of the bowl method. it never seems to make a bigger flare than i could with a roundover bit on the wood. also doesnt leave a lip for you to screw down to the box.

ya it isnt a perfect method but im working on it, and gotta cut down the length to the correct length anyway. as far as mounting im not 100% on that yet put ive got and idea to more or less 'sandwich' the edge between box and a rounded over trim piece.

ya not a perfect method. gonna make some trim rings to 'sandwhic' the edge down. and i have to cut 6" out of the middle for proper length anyway.
