I was "basically" single for a year and a half and having fun, being a single guy is the best way to get over it. Get girls numbers, talk to them. Hang out with your buddies, drive around, basically cause good clean trouble. It's the down time where you get all depressed when you have nothing to do when you start thinking about being with her.
