Well i've had some on my trunk floor for well over a year now, and its still holdin up. My question is will the damp work efficiently on top of that or should I take it off.

Damp Pro sticks better and as well it allows air bubbles to be released from underneath when rolled down.

The peel N Seal does not.

So its best to have damp pro against metal, and no peel n seal at all.

I thought the same thing. If you really want to keep the peal and seal, take it off and put it on top of the damplifier pro.
