OrionStang
If I have two 3500's strapped to three dual 1.4 vc subs, vc series/subs parallel, what load will each amp see, and will they be safe? cheese20323
it would be 1.34 nominal into 3 amps so .44 ohms each. I would just go the 3ohm way so each gets a 1 ohm load just to be safe. Quote 92 Accord Build

hdorre
Idk what the nominal would be, but if its 1.34 like what was said above, then it would be .67 ohms per amp Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
pheint_1
ok i think it would be 0.93 ohm load vc in series subs in parallel i think??? so that would give you a .46 ohm load to each amp, then again someone else who's better at this might want to chime in lol. OrionStang
Obviously I'm not the smartest at this shit, but how do you get a 1.34 nominal load with with THREE dual 1.4 subs? Wired to a single amp series/parallel, you get just under a 1 ohm load. Two amps strapped, with the same wiring configuration would still be around a final 1 ohm, so how much would each amp see? hdorre
I think you could get 2.1 ohms or .93 before rise Edit: so 1.05 ohm or .465 per amp Edited October 2, 2010 by hdorre Quote On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
pheint_1
alright so this is how i did the math idk if its correct though dual voice coils 1.4+1.4 = 2.8/3 subs = 0.93333/ 2 amps = .46666 load each amp also different equations apply when doing all parallel wiring, series/parallel and parallel/series Edited October 2, 2010 by pheint_1 Quote Yo despues que las asomo... papa tu sabes como es que somos esto es flores pa los muertos y pa' mis enemigos plomo la 9 nunca se turba cuando bajan por la curva no es que yo no salga es que ustedes no entran pa la urba de humacao - Cosculluela. OrionStang
I think you could get 2.1 ohms or .93 before rise OK, i'm on the same page with you there, but what would each amp see at .93? Would it be .46 or 1.8 per amp? Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
