skittlesRgood Posted October 11, 2010 Report Share Posted October 11, 2010 in that case your mom > my mom. survived 2 types thats just impressive thanks man, she is awesome. the 1st cancer was one that would not spread to the other breast, no chance. she had a mastectomy that took 8 hours and a week in the hospital to recover. then on a check up they find a different type of cancer in the other one. she did some research and found a new type of surgery that only some doctor in NY does. told her surgeon about it and he did it on her. 2 hour surgery and went home the next day. by the time she had her surgery the doctor had already done it to 2 other women. so by now she has saved a lot of women a good deal of pain and suffering.
