94retta(219) Posted October 16, 2010 Report Share Posted October 16, 2010 id make a port extension so it comes from the box into the cabin.. like cut a hole in the rear deck and go back threw and glass everything. like the ides of doin a 2 peice box tho. thats how im planing my box. did it make a big difference on gettin the box in or still a pain in the ass? looks good tho. 94retta(219) Posted October 16, 2010 Report Share Posted October 16, 2010 wouldnt be that difficult really... but the reason to connect the port is youd be makeing your box into somewhat of a bandpass design. and a bandpass'd 12's have been known to slap very hard.
