Alt for 06 Grand Prix

I've had a pretty rough yr as far as alts are concerned. I bought an Irragi 320 external reg and the regulator was doa. Alt lasted 6 months before it smoked and died. My old backup is on the way out and only comes on once in awhile.

What does Mechman offer for my 06 Pontiac Grand Prix se 3.8liter v6?

I run a single ab 1100.1 daily on 3-5 batts depending on what class I'm setup for. I need something that makes its power at 2000 rpm or less.

I have a very durable 270 amp unit for $399 shipped. It is 100% brand new, and does 165 amps at idle, full output before 2,000 rpm. Our unit features our massive solid copper custom rectifier assembly (Dom generally uses a stock rectifier, which will frequently burn at 320 amps) which is totally bomb-proof at 350+ amps.
