Guest KyleCannon Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 Nice How long do those amps have to be turned off in order for them to do the "warm-up" charge for 2 mins? Quote
smokeumtires Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 (edited) Sorry Meade.....I was meanin to ask... How does the Hoopty ride with all that weight? Can you feel tha difference from before or do the bags make you not even notice the extra lbs? Edited February 9, 2009 by smokeumtires Quote
meade916 Posted February 9, 2009 Author Report Posted February 9, 2009 Nice How long do those amps have to be turned off in order for them to do the "warm-up" charge for 2 mins? it takes about 5 or 6 hours of being OFF for them to start draining back out......so as long as it dont sit THAT long, they dont need a "warm up" every time. Once full, for the most part on a normal day of driving, they stay full all day and just turn back on like any other amp. Sorry Meade.....I was meanin to ask... How does the Hoopty ride with all that weight? Can you feel tha difference from before or do the bags make you not even notice the extra lbs? Oh its a tank bro....its heavy. It has issues with the suspension that i will have to address soon. It needs new shocks in back and a shock relocator kit (and shocks) up front. It only rides decent when fully extended...it gets hard to control at any other position. Guest KyleCannon Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 When they drain back out, is it lost power or does it go back into the batteries if the batteries arent full? Sorry for all the questions, just wanting to get an idea how these hybrid amps work Quote

Sorry for all the questions, just wanting to get an idea how these hybrid amps work im not sure where it goes TTYTT :D that would be a good question for my man Tony D aka snafu to answer..i wonder if he still comes around here. haha i'd imagine that thing would be a tank. weren't you gonna put a supercharger in it too? or did the quad alts not leave enough room for that? we WERE gonna S/C it but due to belt length, i dont think i can do it without a huge hassle. The quad setup already uses the longest belt i can find and its got to have a groove cut off of it being 7 when you only need 6... anyway it would be SICK to do both but at this point, tha alts were more important. The 6.0 is no slouch stock though so that helps Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong! Pitbullx Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 like i said, from what a little birdy told me, the motto at MLA is, "you snooze, you lose" ......apparantly i lost. Id love to....in fact, i might bring that to a show sometime soon! Needs paint and some trim work done but its not too far off! The caddy put a big dent into my civic repair time. shit, my new "special" module was givin to someone else......so to me it is no longer special. If i do buy one, it will be just a standard module because i dont care anymore. Its a good product just make sure you dont snooze and lose like i did. Special thanks to the other 6 or 7 companies that sponsor me and have never done me like that I hope Scott doesnt send the first SMD/AA sub to someone else if i dont call him back fast enough (because im so hard to get a hold of). Everyone knows if i dont call you back right away, it MUST mean i didnt want it after all. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/01nocomment8so.gif so far, splicing the plugs together is working just fine, so im in no hurry. you know my stance on all that shit.... fuck them niggasDom says 175 each which is GREAT! 700 at idle FTW.what did I tell you? damn Im good... and whassap wit that color nigga http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/01nocomment8so.gif Quote Team Devastation Mixed Martial ArtsMachado Brazilian JiujitsuOnce I lock it on there's no escape I don't train to make you tap, I train to tear your arm, leg, or head off. NDMstang65 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Posted February 10, 2009 (edited) I'm not pointing fingers. But if somebody needed 4 cupcakes and i was the only one that had 4 cupcakes on the shelf but it just so happened to have sprinkles and M&M's on it..and they needed it tomorrow and were willing to pay for it to have it there tomorrow...then they would get it. Because the customer contacted me saying that they specifically wanted 4 cupcakes and only 4 cupcakes would feed 4 people, regardless of what toppings it had on it. It is called supply and demand. The aforementioned person that originally ordered the 4 special cupcakes with sprinkles and M&M's on them was too busy counting his Oreos and could not be contacted. Then when he found out his cup cakes went somewhere else because he was too busy counting his Oreo's, he had to act like a 3 year old. We're all adults here ladies/gentleman...well most of us are. Act your age. Cheers! Edited February 10, 2009 by NDMstang65 Quote Authorized Ascendant Audio Dealer! Message me for information.
