baaudio Posted October 23, 2010 Report Share Posted October 23, 2010 Today we did a deck 4 speakers and tint on customers 2005 toyota tundra. When he brought it in all was well. When we went to start it it was dead, not uncommon when having windows and stuff going with lights and testing the radio. Now it starts with the jumpbox but idles at 7.5 volts. Obviously nothing was working in the car. Any clue how this could happen? Were assuming alternator and are replacing it asap tomorrow. But what if this doesn't fix it? Maybe it had died often in the past and was hanging on for dear life, all it needed was to be drained once more.
