I didnt read all the replies so this most likely with both agree and disagree with the other answers, but..... Rusty told me that the XLs can handle 2-3k as long as it is clean power. If you have questions about the box just call DC and ask, they will tell you what to do. If you do plan on upgrading your amp later then I say get the XL but if you plan on keeping the same amp I would get the Level 4. You could probably give the Level 4 1500w clean power.
