The double din will be happening in the next few weeks when I have time, I need a few days to make it perfect.

As far as the alt color, a few reasons went into the choice. One is why not? LOL,,,,no seriously, everytime I went to a show and showed off the alts, people would always say, "oh WOW, you have three alts in there?" Cuz you couldn't really see the bottom one, so I wanted a color that would really pop out at you and still look good, it is an attention grabber. Also got some other things that will be yellow to match the, "Black and Yellow" theme.

Got my hold down bracket fabbed up and installed, makes that d3100 a little more secure!!! Plus looks better IMO.

What did you have in mind for the double din? I went to a junk yard and picked a dash from an 05, and some from an 06, repainted it to match and bolted it in, with some minor modification. Or are you doing some 'glass work

Yup, they were a big hit at the first show, lots of pictures taken. And the way I figure it, I drive this truck everyday, I feel safer knowing that heavy battery is secure. The part number for the passenger tray is 15246518, got it from gmpartsdirect was around $30. And it replaces the tray that is there completely. And you just use one of the standard hold down bolts like the factory tray to hold the battery.

For the double din, glass work I will be modding the factory dash trim.
